Frequently asked Exhibitor questions:

HOW DO I EXHIBIT AT BLADE SHOW?

To exhibit at the BLADE show, you must fill out a contract (available by clicking DOWNLOAD CONTRACT above) and return it by email, fax or mail. All contact information is at the bottom of the contract. A $200 deposit is required upon reciept of the contract. If any information is missing, we will not be able to accept the contract. If you have questions, please email BladeShow@fwmedia.com.

New exhibitors will be assigned space on a first come, first served basis. We will reach out to you to tell you where you have been assigned.

WHAT IS THE WAIT LIST?

When all 2018 spaces are filled, we create a wait list for exhibitors to hold your place in line in the event there is a cancellation or more space becomes available. The wait list is first come, first served. By submitting a contract, you have expressed your interest in space at the BLADE Show, and will be contacted as soon as a spot becomes available. Please note, sending us repeated email requests for updated status is not necessary.

CAN I SHARE A TABLE?

No, table sharing is not allowed. One company per table only.

WHAT HOTELS DO YOU RECOMMEND?

BLADE show has partnered with Eventsphere to provide discounted hotel room rates for our show exhibitors. CLICK HERE to book travel. Information will be available soon.

HOW CAN I IDENTIFY A FRAUDULENT HOTEL COMPANY?

The BLADE Show has designated EventSphere as the ONLY housing provider for the Blade Show 2018. There are fraudulent companies and organizations that will try to present themselves as official partners of BLADE and offer you a potential room that might not be guaranteed or available. Should you be contacted by someone other than EventSphere, please let us know by emailing Blade@eventsphere.com. When booking with Eventsphere while using the online reservation link or calling 855-547-8429 (all coming soon!), you can expect to receive an immediate confirmation e-mail. EventSphere will never call you directly to book a reservation. The only reason EventSphere would call you are: If you called and left a message wanting a returned call, if there is a problem with an existing reservation, or if someone from BLADE Show management requested that EventSphere contact you. For example, “Sarah, with BLADE Show passed along your info…”

HOW DO I PAY THE REMAINING BALANCE ON MY INVOICE?

An invoice will be emailed to each exhibitor in February 2018. If you have still not received an invoice, please email BladeShow@fwmedia.com to request a copy. If you would like to pay by credit card, please call 1-800-726-9966 ext 13353. To use PayPal, please email AR@fwmedia.com. If mailing a check, please include a copy of the invoice and mail to Blade Show, PO Box 26384, Chicago, IL 60673-1263.

DOES THE BLADE SHOW OFFER FREE WIFI?

If you require consistent WiFi in order to process credit cards, please consider requesting WiFi from the Cobb.

CAN I SELL AT A TABLE?

Yes, if you purchase an exhibitor table, you may sell from it.

DO I NEED AN INSURANCE POLICY?

An insurance policy is up to your discretion, but it is highly recommended that you are covered at the show. If any products are lost, stolen, or damaged, BLADE Show management is not liable.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

We require a non-refundable $200 deposit to reserve exhibit space. If you pay in full or a higher amount than the $200, you can be refunded the difference up until February 1, 2018. Any cancellation after February 1, 2018, any money paid is non-refundable.

WHAT IS THE POLICY ON COUNTERFEITING?

THE BLADE SHOW POLICY ON COUNTERFEITING, TRADEMARK INFRINGEMENT, AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY The BLADE Show provides a forum for members of the knife community to gather and focus on knives. Designers, makers and manufacturers can showcase their efforts. Consumers, collectors and users can meet firsthand with those on the supply side and conduct hands-on comparison and evaluation of much of what comprises the knife. The protection of intellectual property, including trademarks and trade dress, is critical to preserving a dynamic and innovative knife industry. The BLADE Show is, accordingly, committed to an anti-piracy policy. Exhibitors who are found to be offering counterfeit or “pirated” knives may be subject to any or all of the following: 1. Removal by law enforcement of items proven to be counterfeit or pirated. 2. Legal action by the affected parties, including removal from the Show by law enforcement. 3. Banned from exhibiting at future BLADE shows. The BLADE Show will work with law enforcement, private anti-piracy consultants retained by various exhibitors and all involved to arrive at the most equitable solution to issues involving counterfeit and pirated knives. All exhibitors are encouraged to exercise care to avoid counterfeit and pirated knives. Know the source and integrity of the knives you display.
